Unsure of the Russian names for their baked goods. Would you describe it for me?
There are some. Also bread. If you need 100% made in a GF only environment for ciliac disease I would be apprehensive.
Yes.l can send pictures
YES
Great russian bakery. Their version of tiramisu cake is the best
Gluten free bread is awesome! Doesn't have the texture of sand. If I could give more stars I would.
Best cherry chocolate cake on the planet!
The Best Russian Bakery in LA! And just try these walnut pastry cake... You never stop!
Definitely favorite bakery in Los Angeles
Piroshki are so oily that even McDonald’s food feels healthy comparing to them
Bought beliash, cheburek, and some pirojki today. Both beliash and cheburek were fryed in some old oil and had bad taste. Pirojki was not good as well.
I’m Russian, but this bakery not best. I bought some pirozhki and it was terrible. Service is so-so. Don’t waste you time and money.
This is the best bakery in all of Los Angeles. It is in the tradition of European pastries with some Russian dishes also. There are also Jewish pastries such as challah, hammen Tosh etc.
Owner swears by telephone..terrible place
Good
what a great idea! I love the taste and try to but it every time when I see the truck! Thank you for bringing the part of Ukrainian culture to CA!
Teach your cashiers to talk! We are not in the 90s
Had what I think are a Russian version of the Polish pączki on Fat Tuesday. Not many places in LA sell pączkis
Very nice people and tasty fresh piroshki, yum!
This review is Exactly 8 years too late. 8 years ago or around about I lived down the street up Fairfax a little and this place made the best pastries you could ever had of hoped to have eaten was just down the street. And there is a liquor store next(d) door as well, which makes it kind of a two-birds-with-one-stone-sorta-situation-when-you-is-in-the-the-neighborhood. This place is no joke
Looove coming here whenever I'm in Los Angeles! Although the lines can get super long, the wait is definitely worth it! Prices are fairly decent and I always leave with more boxes than I can carry lol. My must gets are the potato balls, cheese rolls, guava cheese strudels, and apple strudels!
If I could I would give a ZERO. I was going to buy a cake and ended up not buying anything. First they have a B in their health inspection. Second he had told me that he would sell me the cake for $20 and charge me an extra $3 for writing on it. I went to go get cash and told me that the cake was for $25 plus the $3. I was like how did the price change and I told him nevermind because I heard $20. He tried to convince to buy a smaller cake and I told him no and he literally swung his hand at me and told me to leave. I even heard him talk in a different language with the lady that was there about me. I knew it was me because they looked and I was the only one there. Probably that's what I get for saying how bad could a B in health inspection and decide to try it out. It was the worst service ever.
SOME OF THE BEST PASTRIES THAT I'VE TASTED IN MY LIFE. EXCELLENT SERVICE.ONE OF MY FIRST STOPS WNEN VISITING LA.
I only gives 2 stars to be honest the bakery was good but the customer service was horrible. Looks like the two women working there were not happy to serve Americans. The blonde had the nerve to tell me to take something extra because she didn't have 75 cents changes to give me.I smiled and dug a quarter in my pocket.
I love their gluten free, yeast free and sugar free 3lb loaf. Good family run traditional bakery.
The best bread and confections I’ve had in West Hollywood. Everything from here is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and they have everything priced at the best value. It’s the prefect place to pop into and grab a quick piroshki, eclair, and some of the best tiramisu money can buy.
The best gluten-free bread you can find anywhere
Love their baked apples and many other items that you can't find in other stores
Entered near ten, it was not crowded. The place has a great atmosphere.
Various baked goods and pastries from Russia..with love. Got the pumpernickel rye bread and some pirozhki to eat on the spot. Bread was excellent and the pirozhki were greasy (just the way I like 'em). Guy behind the counter fits every Russian stereotype you can think of and he's great! Can't wait to try more things here.
Belyashi govno, costomer service the worst they trying to sell you more items even if you don't want it
This place is absolutely one of my favorites. I think I might become a regular.
I have shopped here a dozen or so times. Baked goods are always excellent. Service is great and it's usually busy.
I love their chebureks
Service is clearly a problem.
Had a delicious piece of walnut cake from this bakery and a very pleasant interaction with staff. Will be back.
didnt like piroshki and cake wasn’t good
Ahhh sirniki we love em
They have such a variety it's a little overwhelming but in a good way. I purchased a couple Hungarian strudel, pumpernickel bread, fruit tart, and chocolate rum ball. Everything I purchased is delectable. I'll definitely be coming here again!
Great cakes
I LOVE Stolichnaya Bakery ! Their cookies are absolutely delicious, and the delivery time is insane. I work in Civic Center and got 2 dozen cookies in 15 minutes! My team LOVED the Chocolate Chip with Sea Salt, and the Peanut Butter as well. This will definitely be my go-to for deliveries in the future.
Inedible bakery products. I’ve seen a bread and cakes with mold on the shelves. Their piroshki caused me indigestion, taste was awful and oily, a lot of black pepper. Stay away from this place.
Far the best bodka. Terrible pulento, greetings to Byron who is in cana for domestic. Yasuri I love you.
Love the bread and danishes. Also the walnut and opera cakes are a must try
I was reading reviews for Bakery same day before I stop by the place to bue some Piroshka. As a child I had oportunity to eat them and later during my visit to Russia to try there aswell.I saw some bad reviews and thought ok someone had a bad day so wrote a bad review.Unfortenatelly it is very true.Womens that work there agresivelly try to sell menother product since they didnt have piroshka in that moment.I politelly refused and instantlly a women spole on Russian bad things about me without truing to hide and with evil look in her face.Well just let me tell you that I do understand Russian language.Horriblle peoples, disnt even care to bye something after that... left out store and realize just across the street is another store with Piroshkas and normal customer service and delicious products...simple skip Stolichnaya store and horrible negative peoples there...
Russian bakery with Polish and danish items in one. Piroshki is a must have. And if they do, they have pastry stuffed ricotta cheese. Get one.
Ok
The Bakery items were good. The people who were selling were THE MOST PUSHY ONES WE EVER MET!!! Street vendors aren't even close to how they acted. They kept trying to UPSELL their stuff. If we ask about something we were interested in, they just wanted to show something similar, but cost alot more. Then they brought out items we we didn't want and kept asking to sample them and said we should buy it. When going here it's BUYER BEWARE and keep your guard up.
best bakery in U.S.A.
